Hamilton Marist Junior Rugby is a powerful force in club rugby in the Waikato. These kids are our future and we respect the positive impact that rugby has on their lives.
The Club has a rich history over the century it has been in existence and has passionately been a part of New Zealand club rugby since its inception. Hamilton Marist is proud of the fact that it is a community based club, with a large and diverse membership of all ages.
We believe that the longevity and success of the Club has been aided by the focus on the grassroots, or younger members, of the club. The Club actively encourages young people to join and the benefits in this regard are to:
* Share the passion for the game of Rugby
* Retain a good level of health and fitness and meet new people
* Learn the importance of fair play within a competitive team atmosphere
* Foster the attitude that hard work and practice produces positive results
